Dustin helped start the UCONN Storrs club years ago while he was an engineering student. Dustin actually got a professional
engineering job before he even graduated. His jiu jitsu training had something to do with that. More so, the mentality
he brings to our training and club is the root of all success. To Dustin's credit, he has taken a student oriented club and
attracted a number of professional people who happen to live in the area of Storrs. This speaks to his maturity as a teacher
and his professionalism. Dustin cares. Maybe too much sometimes. As a student himself, he demonstrates all the qualities
you hope for: dedication, fortitude, and persistence. This comes out in his teaching as well. And while Dustin may
be the youngest Certified Royce Gracie Jiu Jitsu Coach in the entire worldwide network, he is at the top in terms of his performance.
Now that he is all grown up and super responsible and working in his field, he is still continuing his dedication to
his "baby," the UCONN Storrs Royce Gracie Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Club.
He's an Eagle Scout you know. Jim and Dustin have a lot in common.
